Trenchless also called pipe bursting sewer line replacement is the newest and the most commonly used method of sewer, water and gas line replacement in the industry today. Drain Squad is the only plumbing and Drain Company that have the experts who can replace most of the sewer lines in one day by the trenchless or pipe bursting technology. Many home owners in the past were reluctant to even consider replacing their laterals or water and gas lines, because of the worry about the disruption and destruction of their landscape, driveways, streets and sidewalks. Now this less invasive and more cost effective method is used in 90% of our projects.
How Trenchless Sewer or Pipe bursting works

Only two holes are needed for the pipe's insertion and retrieval. A bursting head is pulled through the existing pipe, and a high density polyethylene pipe also called SDR 17 is pulled through in 20 foot lengths. They are fusion welded into one piece, creating a continuous seamless connection to each end of the sewer line. With years of experience and this new technology, the cost and worry about having your sewer line replaced has gone way down as compared to the traditional old method usually done by digging trenches and tearing the yard and landscaping. We can also explain the procedure as the two holes are dug; one to expose your horizontal waste pipe near the front of your house, and another near the curb (or lowest point) of your sewer main. The machine will be placed over the main at the lower point. The new pipe (polyethylene) is then literally "Burst" through the existing pipe, via the bursting head, cable, and "trenchless" (30 ton pulling capacity) machine. New connections are made, the inspections are done and the holes are backfilled.

Open Trench Sewer Replacements - New Installations

New sewer installations and certain designs of the existing sewers, require the old open-trench method. We have acquired all techniques and equipments necessary, including backhoes, excavators, and dump trucks, to complete any open trench sewer project in the street or on property in a quick and timely manner.

We don't use any sub-contractors, as our skilled technicians are personally trained to handle all aspects of the project, including asphalt paving, concrete work, compaction tests, and inspections. The major cities and sanitation districts recommend us as the drain contractor to service all your drain repairs and replacements.
Pipe Lining
The Drain pipe under the street that is the lateral pipe leading up to the "city main" may be cracked or deteriorated. That's when the lining process would be used. Think about it: If you had to repair this pipe using the conventional method, one would have to seek a permit from the city, and block off the street in order to work on the pipe. The easiest, quick and cost effected solution is to fix that broken part of pipe with the pipe lining or an epoxy. First the pipe is cleaned washed out at the pressure of 4500 to 6000 psi then the lining process starts. A custom two part epoxy is mixed and poured in to permeate the felt liner. The saturated liner is then pulled in place, the bladder is inflated and the curing begins. Once the epoxy lining has cured, the bladder is extracted, leaving a complete structural pipe within a pipe. To insure that the job has been performed perfectly, a camera is done to inspect the work and you receive a copy of this as well.
Lifetime Ownership Warranty

Once the Trenchless process has been performed on your pipe system, the work is guaranteed for as long as you own your home. This means you will never again have to worry about the expense of repairing a leak or the potential insurance problems associated with leaks, roots or breakage caused due to the material used. But for sure we cannot guarantee the natural effects like earthquakes or dirt settlement.
